Wherefore
gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace
that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
1 Peter 1:13
THIS IS THE 'GRACE'
REVELATION -- IT'S THE REVELATION OF THE 'PERSON OF GRACE' -- CHRIST!
NOT JUST
THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE CONCEPT OF 'SAVED BY GRACE'
What I write here is from
a deeper and clearer revelation of the grace, Jesus has shown to us. All
scripture is now clearer, and much
more understandable to me,
from the former acceptance, I had always had, on
grace.
It's all about Jesus and God,
everything points to God through Christ
and the fullness of what He did on the cross,
nothing points to man, or us,
except as undeserving recipients.
For example, it's not how much
we love God, it's how much He loves us.
It's not how much we do for Him, it's how much He
has done for us.
It's about the 'first love'
We love him, because he 'first
loved' us.
1 John 4:19
Herein
is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us,
and sent his Son to be the
propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:10
and it's about the 'first works'
Then said
they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
Jesus answered and said
unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath
sent.
John 6:28 29
and before we go on, lets look at the
fullness of the word
'believe'
from the closest Greek
translation that we have today.

Lets start with SIN---uhmmmm, why
sin,?
because it is looked at so differently
by Christians-
even though we have the same bible,
the same God, the same cross that Jesus hung on,
we still tend to see it from our point of view,
instead of, from what God did through His Son, for us, (who deserved nothing
from Him.)
We can do nothing to earn His
forgiveness !
What is SIN?
in the New Testament
0266 hamartia {ham-ar-tee'-ah}
from 264
(1) equivalent to 264
(1.a) to be without a share in
(1.b) to miss the mark
(1.c) to err, be mistaken
(1.d) to miss or wander from the path
of uprightness and honour, to do or go wrong
(1.e) to wander from the law of God,
violate God's law, sin
(2) that which is done wrong, sin,
an offence, a violation of the divine law in thought or in act
(3) collectively, the complex or aggregate
of sins committed either by a single person or by many
In the old testament, the Hebrew definition
of sin,
is similar to this, but often mixed
with sacrifice.
The
next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of
God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
John 1:2
This begs the question,
how did Jesus take the sin of the world,
away?
We know there is still sin here !
For
then must he often have suffered since
the foundation of the world:
but now once in the end of
the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Hebrews 9:26
Oh, you're saying, well, of course, He takes away
our sins,
and cleanses us, when we first believe, by faith,
and are saved.
Good, now what !
We all fall short of the glory of God, and
If
we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not
in us.
1 John 1:8
John is talking to the believer here-
and we have sin, and we do sin-
after we are saved-

Why are we baptised,
what did Jesus want us
to know, by this?
When we are baptized, all we
do is go into the water,
symbolizing our death with Christ.
Coming up again, out of the water, symbolizing the
'new man' cleansed of all sin.
When we come up from our symbolic death with Christ,
symbolic By our salvation we
are already joined into His Holy spirit,
but this is our symbolic resurrection with Him
into the 'new man' that we now are.
It is symbolic that we have joined into His spirit,
free of the bondage of sin.
Only because of His gift of grace,
in bestowing upon us, His complete righteousness.
And what if we are not baptized,
or die before baptism?
We are still joined in Christ when we first believe.
But baptism is the symbolizing of our death to sin,
that Jesus has already nailed to the cross.
I
believe there are good reasons Jesus
told us to be baptized,
and to baptize,
The main reason,
is to remind us that
we did not save
ourselves from sin,
but have only one
savior who gave to us eternal life,
through the sacrifice
of His blood..
Representing newness
of life in the spirit,
death of the bondage
of sin, in the flesh.
Communion also is
a reminder of His love,
and our response
to that love.
And now
why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling
on the name of the Lord.
Acts 22:16
Therefore
we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised
up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk
in newness of life.
Romans 6:4
Buried
with
him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of
the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
Colossians 2:12
Likewise reckon
ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but
alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:11
For what the law
could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own
Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the
flesh:
Romans 8:3
And
if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin;
but the Spirit is life because
of righteousness.
Romans 8:10
Are we dead ?
and freed from sin, yes, as
believers we are.

What did Jesus do for us on ...
THE CROSS
Knowing
this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might
be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
For he that is dead is freed
from sin.
Romans 6:6 7
We are covered by His love, in Him,
being part of His sinlessness, Holy spirit of mercy,
and grace.
His gift to us, it truly unfathomable.
Love, a free gift, the tenderest
mercies, and grace
to mankind, that did nothing to deserve it,
and can do nothing to be worthy of this love.
Our flesh, is still corrupt, and capable of all
the sins of the flesh,
but it is now,
not accounted against us, (as
being at enmity with God)
because of the Glory of God,
through the Grace of Jesus,
and that he nailed the enmity of the flesh on the
cross,
in the form of the 'law' which kept the 'old man'
nature in bondage.
For
the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
John 1:17
The sting of death
is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
1 Corinthians 15:56
And ye know that
he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1 John 3:5
Having
abolished in his flesh the enmity,(a
feeling or condition of hostility; hatred; ill will; animosity)
even the law of commandments
contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain (two) one new
man, so making peace;
And that he might reconcile
both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
Ephesians 2:15 16
In His spirit
through faith of salvation
our flesh has
been atoned for, to God.
Jesus made peace,
to God, for us, in His flesh, for our flesh.
And not only so, but we also
joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
by whom we have now received
the atonement
Romans 5:11
But, that's after we believe
by faith, that Jesus did save us.
For those that don't believe, they have to carry
their own burden of guilt, for their sins.
He nailed the law, (our bondage
to sin)
to the cross, for all mankind. All mankind,
have been
covered by the work of the cross, through Jesus,
but only those that believe this, by faith,
can receive this atonement, and thus, be set at
liberty,
from guilt, condemnation, and much more.
So by proxy, the 'old man' in
each of us, was atoned for, or reconciled
to God, because the law of the flesh in each of
us,
was nailed to the cross by Jesus, the final sacrifice.
It is finished !
For
scarcely for a righteous man will one
die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
But God commendeth
his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for
us.
Much more then, being
now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
For if, when we were
enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more,
being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Romans 5:7-8-9-10
And,
having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all
things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or
things in heaven.
And you, that were sometime
alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

Law versus grace, regards
sin
No more can the person under
the law,
find any way to atone for his sin,
there is no more sacrifice for sin. It has
already been done,
by the grace of God, through Jesus on the cross.
Why did Paul say
so often,
Therefore
by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:
for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Romans 3:20
For if we sin willfully
after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth
no more sacrifice for sins,
Hebrews 10:26
A good friend asked me to expound
on the above scripture for her. I have decided
to include it here. I was inclined not to,
for the sake of brevity, but if someone wants to know something, I guess,
they will take the time to find out,
and read it all.
So here goes:
This book is entitled Hebrews- which of course- was
to the Jews (Hebrews) of the conversion to salvation.
Here's some of the main key
scriptures of this chapter- These Jews,
were accustomed to committing sin and then,
going to the priest and offering a sin offering
and so on, to cover
themselves. Even after conversion, there was
great confusion on this, as
well as circumcision, which they thought sealed
their salvation-
(wow, God forbid)
we mortals are always thinking
of pain sacrifices for ourselves-
to somehow make up for our sins- I know you've
seen that !
Above
when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings
and offering for sin thou
wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein;
which are offered by the law;
Hebrews 10:8
Then said he, Lo, I come
to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first,
that he may establish the
second.
Hebrews 10:9
Paul is explaining, that Jesus
has taken away the first,
(law of works) and established the second,
(we, under grace) Paul goes on to
say, that there is nothing the priests can do anymore
for redemption of sin.
And
every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same
sacrifices,
which can never take away
sins:
and that this man, Jesus----
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat
down
on the right hand of God;
Hebrews 10:11-12
He concludes, that for those under the law,
they must see that
they are now covered by grace and all the liberty
that goes with it.
(
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. )
1John 1:9
but that, to those
who think
there is still something more they can do for
redemption of their sins, (willfully or not) even
though he doesn't say that-
Jesus was the final sacrifice,
and that if they know they are saved
by faith in the grace of God, through Jesus on the
cross,
they can no longer go back to thinking of any other
sacrifice for their
sins, (under the law) or then, they have as much
as,
made His work of the cross of no effect,
because they have fallen from
grace,
Galations 5:4 and
are depending on works to save them from their sin.
We are either under grace, or we are under works-
even today--
so the 26th verse
For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the
truth,
there remaineth no more sacrifice
for sins,
this was sin under the law!
Hebrews 10:26
( this is referring to a priestly or
animal sacrifice)
It's finished, by the grace of God.
Paul is saying that -
we are under grace now, and not under the law,
and that there is absolutely no more sacrifice
for sin- and when we do sin-
John has given us the promise of God, in the above
1john1:9 as well as all
the scriptures of how great of work was really done
on the cross, as regards
reconciling our sinful flesh to God, through Jesus-
This wasn't possible, under
the law-
it appeased, through animal blood and priestly prayers,
but
never atoned, or redeemed- till Jesus---blood--was
shed, once and for all
time--for all mankind. So if we now
willfully sin, and we do, even as
Christians, (passion)
(self pride) (anger) whatever,
we have a redeemer, to confess to,
and we have the promise of forgiveness and cleansing.
AND THAT PROMISE WAS MADE BACK THEN, BY GOD,
THROUGH THE SACRIFICE OF CHRIST, ON THE CROSS.
THIS PROMISE WAS GOOD FOR ALL MANKIND FROM THEN
ON.
So in Hebrews 10: 1-26
Paul is telling the Jews, who
may still be thinking, 'under the law' and sacrifice,
that there was no more 'animal' or priestly sacrifice
for their sin,
as there was, before Jesus bestowed grace upon us,
from the cross. That the final sacrifice had
already been made,
through the cross by the Grace
of God, through Jesus.
It is finished !
Covered by Grace
This is so much love, mercy,
and grace, and liberty, that some are afraid of it.
Some believers, just can't accept, that
there's nothing they need to do, or be busy doing,
for God.
If there is a physical work of any kind, that glorifies
God, it will only follow the manifestation of the
heart of grace, where God is.
There is no glory to God, if the work comes first.
Why? because it's the persons work,
who thinks they 'should' must, has to, or
whatever else, drives the human heart,
other than grace, from the mind of Christ!
1Corin.2:16
But as we grow in it, we will see a heightened joy,
in the more
intimate relationship with
our Lord,
and therefore, in order to keep in a
good relationship, we have to keep our confession
to God,
faithfully.
He can't have a relationship with darkness,
and we will miss out!
He waits for us to come out
of darkness,
ever ready to forgive and cleanse.
Then
if sin continues, unconfessed,
God will deal with us, because He loves
us, and protects us from ourselves, so we can get
back into His
His righteousness and fellowship.
I desire to be present
with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.
Tell me, ye that desire
to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
Galatians 4:20 -21
And the law is not of
faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
Galatians 3:12
I do not frustrate the
grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law,
then Christ is dead in vain.
Galatians 2:21
Paul was teaching mostly to
the Jews of the time.
Paul did not need to say this to the Gentiles-
unless they were being persuaded
by some misguided Jewish, that they needed
to do something under the law, to deserve their
salvation, and redemption from sin.
For when the
Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in
the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Romans 2:14

The flesh
I might wonder,
why then do we need this corrupt flesh?
Because God loves us so, He
created us for His pleasure, and to have fellowship with Him.
But man fell away from that fellowship, through
Adam, but God, still loving us sent His only begotten son, in the person
of Jesus Christ.
Well, we could say, it's because He wants
us to have an abundant life here on earth, and learn
of Him.
We could also say, that He wants to do His loving
work,
through our hearts. As that happens, He can reach
out to the heart of others, through the hearts, that are His.
And this, with the measure of faith, that
He gave us, in the first place. Romans 12:3
For
God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined
in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in
the face of Jesus Christ.
But we have
this treasure in earthen vessels,(the flesh) that the excellency of
the power may be of God, and not of us.
2 Corinthians 4:6
-7
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the
law,
but under grace.
Romans 6:14
Being
then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Romans 6:18
For
when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
Romans 6:20
Now
then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Romans 7:17
For the
law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the
law of sin and death.
Romans 8:2
So now, we come back to sin,
in this flesh, that, even though,
not accounted against us anymore,
how to deal with it, and keep a good relationship
with our Lord,
on a daily basis--when sin still dwells in the flesh?
Even though atoned to God through
Jesus' finished work of the cross.!
First Jesus tells us how to
treat others that sin against us.
He, in effect, puts no limit to the forgiveness
through grace,
that we are to give to others.
Here's what Paul said about his flesh-
Paul, who knew the most about the mysteries of God
since the foundations of the world.
Who knew the most about the Grace of Jesus and the
Glory of God.
Romans 7:14
¶For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under
sin.
15 For that
which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate,
that do I.
16 If then
I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then
it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know
that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will
is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the
good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if
I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth
in me.
21 I find
then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight
in the law of God after the inward man:

More Grace through Jesus Christ.-
Because we are so wretched,
and have been forgiven so much, do we have any place,
not to forgive another ? This is to the believer;
and we, when we sin--we are
already forgiven by God, through Jesus,
but we need to know we sin, because God desires
our fellowship,
but He has no fellowship with darkness. So--
If we confess our sins, he is faithful
and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
God, through the sacrifice of Jesus
blood,
stands ready to wash us clean
again, each time we
confess to Him, our sins. We don't need to
ask him to forgive us,
else do we doubt the faithfulness of His word, and
promise.
What else can we do, but be
ever so thankful to Jesus
for accepting and loving us beyond the sin,
and redeeming us from the wrath of our sin,
and welcoming us back into His fellowship,
under grace.
What
then? shall we sin, because we are
not under the law,
but under grace? God forbid.
Romans 6:15
OR
What shall we say then?
Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Romans 6:1
But if we walk in the
light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and
the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 John 1:7
But when we do sin,
and we all have sin that dwells in our flesh, we
confess to God our sin.
Man who offends or sins against us, Jesus says to
rebuke him,
but if he repents, to forgive him,
unlimited times. Why must he repent,?
because how would we know, if he didn't communicate
that to us.
God, though, knows our heart, and sin has already
been accounted for,
but we confess to Him to let Him know we stand ready
to be justified by faith in His grace, and want back in His fellowship
of love.
For whosoever shall keep the
whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
James 2:10
but that law has now been written on
our hearts,
This
is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the
Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write
them;
Hebrews 10:16
This is why the spirit of the
grace of God
cannot have His way completely, unless the flesh
is completely yielded, and the flesh steps aside,
to make way for the Holy spirit to do what He will,
through our vessels.
Because we have no good thing
in our flesh of our own.
Christ is become of no effect
unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from
grace.
For we through the Spirit
wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
Galatians 5:4-5
For he hath made him
to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness
of God in him.
2 Corinthians 5:21
This is grace,
It's beyond complete understanding, it's unspeakable
love and mercy,
it's ever thankful, that we, being O wretched men
that we are,
should be given such a gift as this, from our God
through our Lord and Savior, through the cross.
We have liberty, and have been
set free from bondage and condemnation.
This is liberty-

and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Galatians 5:1
Let no man
therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday,
or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Colossians 2:16
Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my

not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants

1 Peter 2:16
When one knows better the grace
of God, in the knowledge
of the person of grace Jesus,
we know the gracious covering
of God for our flesh, and
all it's frailities.
But, if a Christian, is always
worried about their sin,
and whether God has forgiven
them, or whether they
are going to make it into
heaven, or what can they do to make up
for their sinful nature, then
they are still lingering under
the 'law' as if they
have to do something.

The consequences
of sin, in our life
It cannot be left unsaid, of what happens,
if we as Christians take advantage of the liberty
that we have been given, concerning sin-
Should we choose to continue in a sin, or sins, unconfessed
to our God, through Jesus, we will be dealt with.
Our God is a loving God, and a jealous God, and
a protective God, and a Forgiving God, and a God full of grace, mercy,
glory, and tenderness.
But He deals with us as His children, when we believers
sin,
not as outsiders, who He will judge, one day.
And ye have forgotten the exhortation
which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the
chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
For whom the Lord loveth
he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
If ye endure chastening,
God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth
not?
But
if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards,
and not sons.
Furthermore we have
had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence:
shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and
live?
For they verily for a
few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit,
that we might be partakers of his holiness.
Now no chastening for
the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward
it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised
thereby.
Hebrews 12:5 -6-7-8-9-10-11
As many as I love, I rebuke
and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Revelation 3:19
ahh, well, now why is there a need for repentance-
! uhmm could it be that because the sin has not been confessed and turned
from,
that the Lord is kind and tender enough to give
us a warning here,
that we must have a change of heart, or as 'repent'
means a change of mind about our actions.
We must admit to ourselves
that we have committed sin,
and we must confess it to God.
As to others sin against us
Then came Peter to him, and
said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him?
till seven times?
Jesus saith unto him,
I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Matthew 18:21 -22
Take
heed
to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if
he repent, forgive him.
And if he trespass against
thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee,
saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Luke 17:3 -4
Judge not, that ye be not judged.
Matthew 7:1
Judge not, and ye shall
not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and
ye shall be forgiven:
Luke 6:37
So as Paul said-
But with me it is a very small
thing that I should be judged of you,
or of man's judgment: yea,
I judge not mine own self.
For I know nothing by
myself; yet am I not hereby justified:
but he that judgeth me is
the Lord.
1 Corinthians 4:3-4
But as Jesus said
also:
Judge
not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
John 7:24
And remember-for the deep in sin-
For
we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense,
saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
It is a fearful thing
to fall into the hands of the living God.
Hebrews 10:30 -31
And what is the deepest
sin?
It's believing that
there is no 'living God'
when all creation crys out,
that our omnipitent
God, created all things.
When a person
finally knows, even if it is, after death,
that there has always been
a 'living God'
it will be a fearful thing,
to be judged by God, who lives,
but was dead to them!
By
whom also we have access by faith into this 'grace' wherein we stand, and
rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:2
